Who maintains this site

Security Fencing is run by Bartlomiej Standa, a sole trader trading as Elevate Ireland. He writes and checks the pages. Contact: hello@securityfencing.ie.

It's an introduction service, not a fencing company, and it isn't connected to any council or government body.

Sources we use

• Irish fencing suppliers' published prices: HERMEQ, Wire and Fence Depot and Fenceit. Euro prices only; we don't use UK prices.
• Council guidance on exempted development: Clare County Council and Kildare County Council.

How we check a figure

• We read it at its source and record the date we read it.
• Where a supplier shows prices ex and incl. VAT, we show both. Where VAT isn't stated, we say so. We never add VAT ourselves.
• We don't estimate or fill gaps. No installed price is shown because none could be confirmed.
• Where a listing contradicts itself, we say so.

How often

Prices and planning facts are re-checked at least once a month. The current check was done on 28 October 2026.

What we never publish

Reviews, ratings, customer counts, badges or response-time promises. Planning advice dressed up as a ruling. Prices we haven't confirmed.
