About Security Fencing

Who runs Security Fencing, what happens when you send a request, and where the prices come from.

Who runs it

Security Fencing is an introduction service run by Bartlomiej Standa, a sole trader trading as Elevate Ireland.

What this site does

Security Fencing explains security fencing for Irish businesses, farms, building sites and homes: palisade, mesh and temporary fencing, the planning rules, and what the materials cost from Irish suppliers' published prices, with VAT status and a link to each source.

Who gets your request

One fencing contractor who covers your county. Your details aren't sent to a list of companies. The contractor rings you, asks about the site, usually arranges a look, and gives you a written quote. Nothing is ordered unless you say yes.

Listing a supplier's prices on this site doesn't mean it's the contractor we pass your request to.

What the quote form does

It asks what's being fenced, which kind of fence, roughly how long and how high, and the county. It then shows the relevant supply prices and, for homes, the planning position. Your name and number go to the contractor so they can price the job.

How we keep the figures right

We only use what a supplier says on its own page, with VAT status. Irish euro prices only. If a figure can't be confirmed at its source, we leave it out, which is why there are no installed prices on the site.

What we don't do

We don't supply or install fencing, and we don't give planning or legal advice.
